Apple is being sued for $1m by an 83-year-old woman who was injured after walking into a glass door at an Apple Store.

Evelyn Paswell suffered a broken nose after walking into the door at the Manhasset Apple Store in Long Island, New York.

CBS reports that Paswell didn't see the glass door. Paswell's lawyer claims that Apple was negligent for "allowing a clear, see-through glass wall and/or door to exist without proper warning".

Derek T. Smith, representing Paswell, said that Apple had failed to "appreciate the danger that high-tech modern architecture poses to some people" in its attempt to appear cool and modern.

After the incident, the Manhasset Apple Store reportedly had warning strips posted on its glass doors. Apple has made no official comment on the case.
