Apple has suffered a critical leak, affecting its Californian business operations, reports the Mercury News.

Faulty plumbing – specifically a water leak in a fire sprinkler system – partially flooded one of its offices in the small hours of Wednesday morning. The company was informed of the damage at 12.40am (local time) Wednesday.

The deluge wasn't trivial – at one point 100 gallons of water per minute were flooding into the building. The leak wasn't fixed until 2.35am (local time).
