The Apple television set could feature seamless Siri integration, allowing users to control their TV via their iPhone from wherever they are.

That’s according to Insideris, which reports that an anonymous tipster has suggested Apple’s smart TV will have Siri integration that will mean that an iPhone 4S owner will be able to set their television to record something even if they’re on the commute into work or sitting in the office.

If, for instance, the user had forgotten to set the latest episode of The Walking Dead to record, they could pick up their iPhone and say to Siri: “Record TV show The Walking Dead,” and it would.

The report highlights that the anonymous tipster may not be a reliable source of information, but we think that this would be a great feature if Apple decides to implement it.
