Apple has won the “aplestore.com” domain name, following a dispute that concluded with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) ordering the domain to be transferred to Apple.

Domain Name Wire notes that the applestore.com typo was previously registered to Polish GoDaddy.com, which directed internet users who missed out that second ‘p’ to a page full of adverts for various Apple competitors.

Earlier this year, Apple also won the iPhone5.com domain name, but aplestore.com is the first to be resolved under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) this year.

Apple still has casing pending for 13 other domain names, including itunes.net, applenusic.com, wwwapplemusic.com, wwwitune.com and applstor.com.
