The BBC will add new topics to those it offers on its education-focused online service BBC Jam at BETT 2007.

The service offers multimedia learning resources for UK children based on the National Curriculum. These resources can be accessed by anyone through a web browser.

New topics will include Media Studies and Child Development for 14-16-year olds. These will be introduced in January 2007.

The Media Studies course is set in an interactive production studio. Students must go through a process which teaches how radio and television studios are run, recording vox pops, creating features, storyboarding and more.

The BBC also recently made Design and Technology, Field Studies, History, Geography, personal finance and business studies courses available through BBC Jam.
