Black Friday is amongst us, and today many online companies are offering Black Friday sales specials.

Black Friday is traditionally an American shopping sale (the first Friday following Thanksgiving) and kickstarts the holiday season in the US. Many American tech companies have started to bring this tradition to the UK.

The following deals are interesting to Apple and tech fans in the UK:

Apple is offering up to £81 off of a MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, as well as the iPad 4 for just £368. There are also sales on iPad 2, iPod touch and other Apple products. Curry's is also selling the iPad 3 for £329 (which is an okay-ish deal).

John Lewis is also matching Apple's prices today, so if you'd rather shop at John Lewis you can.

Amazon Kindle Fire on sale for £99

Amazon is selling the Apple TV for £75.40

If you don't want an Apple TV then Sainsbury's is selling the Sony PlayStation PS3 12GB Super Slim model for just £138.74.

Amazon is also selling off all it's old 30pin dock connectors for 59p each

Apple Reseller Stormfront is holding a one day shopping event at its UK stores today, Friday 23 November. The company will also be celebrating the opening of its new store in Cleveland Centre, Middlesbrough tomorrow (Saturday 24 November) with a 10% discounts on all new Macs. Stormfront will also be opening stores in Luton and Epsom before Christmas. There are Stromfront stores in various locations around the UK, from Bury St Edmonds to York. Find your local Stormfront store here. There's also a new Sutton Coldfield store opening next weekend. 

Steam has discounted many Mac games. Portal 2 is on sale for just £3.74 and the recently released Borderlands 2 is available for just £22.49.

Curry's is offering a 100 hour price crash with an iPad 2 for just £296. They are also discounting Mac Pro computers by up to £310 and have the Apple 27in display with a £90 discount.

Maplin's has a huge range of products on discount, although there's little that is specific to Apple, there's a lot of cheap headphones, speakers and accessories available.  

There are a lot of discounts availalbe on the App Store today. EA is running many games at 90% off (FIFA 13 is just £1.99, and Scrabble for iPad is only 69p) at the moment. QuickOffice Pro HD is also just £2.99 today. 

The Mac App Store also has a lot of discounts including classic shooter Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for just £5.49 and Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic for just £2.99. Click here to view discounted games on the Mac App Store.
