At least one new iPod gadget swings against the prevailing trend of accessory provision: AnyCom Technologies has launched a new product that lets you use any device with an iPod accessory,

The new product is called Fipo. It's a small Bluetooth gadget that lets any Bluetooth mobile phone or other device with Bluetooth compatibility stream audio to other devices intended for use with an iPod.

Unlike FM transmitters that sometimes have poor sound quality, FIPO uses Bluetooth technology and claims to stream audio in crystal clear, digital quality to car stereo systems, for example.

The device plugs into a device's iPod dock connector, after which it begins to search for paired devices. Once paired, users can navigate content using any on-board controls the iPod dock may have.

Mass production of the product in the US and Europe will begin 15 February. It will cost $99.
