Maxell introduced a range of clock radio iPod dock systems at CES this week.

The products offers an AM/FM radio, dual alarms, sleep modes, snooze capabilities, battery backup and a remote control. The iPod Clock Radio will also play tracks held on flash media devices and also features a USB and 3.5mm line-in jack. A range of systems should ship later this year.

Maxell's Desktop is an AM/FM clock radio that serves as a speaker system, iPod charging station and picture frame that allows users to replace the standard iPod screen with their personal photographs.

The Bedside Alarm Clock Radio hosts a large, backlit LCD screen which shows date and time and also boasts four speakers and a dynamic wave chamber for enhanced bass.

Maxell is also introducing a new iPod Desktop/Wall Mount Alarm Clock Radio that can be set on a desk, table or mounted on a wall. Just ike the other products, this offers an AM/FM radio, flash memory card reader, charging functionality and a time and temperature weather display.

"Our new clock, alarm and charging stations will deliver consumers unmatched quality and they extend the usefulness of the iPod, which has become practically ubiquitous in American life. iPods are not just for portable use any more and people want to listen to them in all aspects of their life," said Gordon Tetreault, director of sales and marketing for Maxell's accessory products.

Maxell's One Dock, Bedside Alarm Clock Radio and Desktop/Wall Mount Alarm Clock Radio will cost $99.99, $149.99 and $199.99 respectively. UK prices have not been confirmed.
