Today is the day Apple fans have been waiting for, it’s the first day of this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, and to kick it off, Tim Cook is set to present a keynote at 6.00 GMT.

Apple could be announcing new Mac hardware today, as well as iOS 6, iCloud updates, the launch date of OS X Mountain Lion, an Apple TV App Store and more.

Excited developers have been queuing outside San Francisco’s Moscone Center hours ahead of the keynote, hoping to get a glimpse of Apple executives unveiling new products.

Glasshouse Apps has posted some photographs of the queue on Twitter. One of the photos also shows a people with jet-pack-like Coffee Machines strapped to their backs, keeping the devoted queuers caffeinated. One tweet from the developer suggests that he is between 60th and 70th in the queue.
