DJ Normski will be mixing tunes at Chester city's Apple Premium Reseller MCC on 30 June.

The world-renowned dance DJ will show customers at the store how easy it is to create and edit music on a Mac using GarageBand.

The Chester shop is open now at 5-7 Watergate Row, deep in the heart of the historic town's medieval shopping galleries, driving the DJ to observe:

“I’ve heard a lot about Chester’s heritage and great architecture, but I’m still going to bring the walls down during my set. I promise not to leave my usual trail of destruction, but I guarantee a wicked day, You’ll be able to download my set afterwards, so you can take some great tunes around with you on the iPod all summer.”

Chris Wiseman, MCC sales manager, said: “The idea behind this event is to mix live performance with easy to use, flexible technology. What better way to do this than with a top entertainer like Normksi?”

The day takes place in three sessions, pre-registration is required and the first DJ set begins at 2pm. As an added incentive, there's four iPod nanos up for grabs in four prize draws to be held throughout the day.
