Eleksen has been chosen by the Consumer Electronics Association as an international CES Innovations 2007 Design and Engineering Awards honoree for its innovative fabric-based iPod controller.

The company's smart-fabric technology is being employed in a growing range of iPod-ready coats, which are designed to let uses control their music player using washable, fabric-based technology.

Eleksen's products will be highlighted at the 2007 International CES, which runs from 8-11 January, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Innovations Plus at the Sands. This event showcases the hottest technologies in the consumer electronics industry.

The company was also named as a finalist in the Design Application of the Year category for Elektra 06, Europe's electronics industry awards.

"It is clear Eleksen is being recognised for innovation in design and our technology's ability to completely transform the consumer electronics industry," said John Collins, Eleksen's vice president of business development.
