FileMaker Go for iPad and iPhone has been downloaded more than 500,000 times from Apple's App Store, the company has announced.
FileMaker on Monday published a press release to announce the service's milestone, which it says "underscores the rapid growth of custom business solutions created with the FileMaker Platform and running on iOS devices."
The two FileMaker Go apps enables users to seamlessly access their FileMaker Pro database from their iOS device in order to view, edit and search their information while on the move.
"Businesses are using the FileMaker Platform to create solutions that manage everything from sales contacts to medical information on iPads and iPhones," said Ryan Rosenberg, vice president of marketing and services at FileMaker Inc. "We're very happy to see FileMaker Go pass the half-million downloads mark. This rapid adoption demonstrates FileMaker's position as a leading platform for development and deployment of custom business solutions for iOS"
