Former Apple ad man Scott Trattner has returned to TBWA\Media Arts Lab, Apple's exclusive agency, after a seven-month stint at rival Samsung's ad firm 72andSunny.

Trattner worked at Media Arts Lab from 2004 to mid 2012 before he left to join 72andSunny last summer. During his time at Media Arts Lab, Trattner was Executive Creative Director for the firm, and worked on Apple advertising campaigns including the Get a Mac series.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Trattner returned to Media Arts Lab in February as Executive Creative Director.

Prior to his departure from Media Arts Lab last year, Trattner's 'Genius' ads were blasted by critics, and deemed 'embarrassing', 'cheap', 'cringe-inducing', and 'dreadful', and were quickly pulled from Apple's YouTube channel and website.
