Tech blog Engadget has posted a video of a Samsung Nexus S allegedly purchased from eBay that appears to be running the highly anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich -- aka version 4 of Google's Android operating system.

The delicious sounding Ice Cream Sandwich will mark the unification of the two strands of the Android OS since Google began its tablet play with version 3.0 -- Honeycomb. Honeycomb was designed solely for tablet devices, while phones used the 2.3.x (Gingerbread) branch.

Interface tweaks visible in the video include a pop-open tray with access to standard Android apps like Google Maps, YouTube and Google Plus, what appears to be changed functionality for the home button and expanded shortcuts along the bottom of the display.
