Apple iPhone, iPod and iPad accessory specialists Griffin Technology, has introduced a range of new iPad accessories.
The Cabinet Mount is billed as a fantastic way of using the iPad around the home, with the ability to secure the tablet device underneath kitchen cupboards or under your bedroom shelves for enjoying in bed. The mount can also be used on an office desk for watching TV or films. The Cabinet Mount has a SRP of £49.99 and will be available from Apple at the end of October.
The Standle promises to be more than just another hard-shell case for iPad. It incorporates a stand for portrait and landscape viewing, a carrying handle, and a typing stand, all in one fold-away protective case.
The large portrait stand swings out to position your iPad for presentations or portrait viewing, then swings back into the case when you're done. Flip open the two-position landscape stand/handle to carry your iPad, then fold it back to create a stand for viewing in landscape orientation.
Lay your iPad back from this position into a gentle incline that's great for tabletop or desktop typing and surfing. When you're done, the stand/handle folds back into the body of the case. The design allows docking with Apple's iPad Dock and Keyboard Dock without removing your iPad from the case, and strategically-placed cut outs provide access to all ports and controls claims Griffin. The Standle has a SRP of £39.99 and will be available from Apple on 1 November.
The AirStrap is a cover with an elastic strap on the back for your hand, making it easier to carry the iPad comfortably and safely. The AirStrap has a SRP of £39.99 and is available from Apple now.
The Loop meanwhile, is billed as a simple stand, which accommodates all uses, including viewing pictures, films, typing and browsing. The Loop will cushion the iPad and prevent scratches and scrapes, whilst the non-slip rubbish underneath protects your furniture and ensures no movement when in use insists Griffin. The Loop has a SRP of £24.99 and is available from 1 November.
Finally, the company recently introduced the CinemaSeat for iPad, designed for watching favourite films and TV shows, listening to music and playing games on the go. The Griffin CinemaSeat has a SRP of £29.99 and is available directly from Apple online and in stores.
