With a month to go until the rumoured iPhone 5 launch on 12 September, pictures of what could be the next generation iPhone circuit board, that holds the CPU, memory and connectors, have been posted on a Chinese forum, Weiphone.

The user posted images of what seems to be the back and front of the alleged iPhone 5 logic board with screw holes seemingly aligned with those found in shells that have been previously leaked, as pointed out by Nowhereelse.fr. The French site even went on to create an animated GIF showing the holes lining up.

This appears to be a trusted source, the Weiphone forum user previously posted seemingly authentic images of the iPhone 4S logic board in August 2011, prior to the iPhone 4S’s 21 October launch, states 9 to 5 mac.

The new iPhone is also rumoured to be 18 percent slimmer than the iPhone 4S and will possibly have a smaller dock connector. To read more about what we know about the iPhone 5, click here
