The iPad 2 will launch in Japan tomorrow and in 11 other markets on Friday 29 April, Apple has announced.
The device was supposed to launch in Japan on 25 March - the same day as the UK - but this was postponed after the devastating earthquake and tsunami in the north east of the country.
The iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models will be available in Japan on April 28 and Hong Kong, India, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and UAE on April 29.
A Wi-Fi only model will be available in China on May 6, and further international availability will be announced at a later date, Apple said.
Pricing will vary from country to country, so check with local resellers for accurate prices.
For those of you in the UK still waiting to get an iPad 2, the Apple website is still listing a shipping time estimate of one to two weeks.
Thursday 28 April will be a busy day for Apple, with the white iPhone 4 due to launch in 28 markets around the world, including the UK.
