Equinux has released CoverScout 2.1, introducing new features to its album art-finding software for iTunes.

Alongside minor bug fixes, the application has been optimised for better performance, and also now offers an advanced search function, an integrated size slider and new contextual menu items.

The search function has been extended in order to let users search not only for artists but also entire albums.

Additonally, equinux has added a few new minor features designed to increase the usability of CoverScout - it provides new contextual menu items to let the music play or to view the source of your music files in the Finder.

The application costs $19.95, but a demo is available from the company website.
