With everyone still coming to grips with the end of the Olympics in London, news that the iTunes Festival London will take place from 1 – 30 September certainly gives us something to look forward to.

The 30-day free festival will have over 60 acts including Usher, Emeli Sandé, Jack White, Lana Del Ray, Plan B and P!NK among the confirmed acts. The iTunes Festival will be held at its usual venue, Camden’s Roundhouse.

Yesterday, Apple updated its free iTunes Festival London 2012 app to version 3.5. The app allows you to stream the shows live or view them afterwards either using the app or your mac via iTunes. The concerts can also be streamed wirelessly onto your big screen using AirPlay or Apple TV.

The update offers additional language support and additional performance and reliability improvements. The app is now available to download in additional countries, making it accessible to festivalgoers from outside the UK who do not have a UK App Store account.
