Two of the airlines Apple named as planning to add iPod integration to their in-flight entertainment systems are denying the claims.

Apple named six airlines as moving to introduce iPod docks into their in-flight systems, Continental, Delta, Emirates, United, Air France and KLM.

However, Air France and KLM have denied that definitive plans to do this exist. "It's way too early to confirm any such details," an Air France spokeswoman told Reuters

A KLM spokesperson also called Apple's claims "premature", admitting only to "informal contacts" between the firms. "At this moment, we have absolutely no intention of introducing it on board," he said.

Responding to these denials, Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr admitted to a, "miscommunication" with the two protesting airlines, but pointed to the others as reason for cheer.

More such deals are expected, the report claims.
