The latest London iPod flashmobbing took place at Paddington Station last Thursday.

According to the Independent, 3,500 iPod-wielding flashmobbers descended on the station to begin dancing silently in unison at 7.18pm. Those taking part had been instructed to bring iPods loaded with the Big Bass song 'What You Do'.

Commuter Danny Clifford said: "It was the most bizarre and surreal experience of my life. The clock hit 7.18pm and suddenly the place erupted. Everyone was plugged into their MP3 players so there was no music to be heard."
