Elgato is showcasing its all-new EyeTV Diversity device at MacExpo this week.
This TV tuner for Macs promises better reception of Freeview broadcasts indoors and in areas which suffer poor signal quality. It's a compact USB 2.0 stick with an aluminium finish, and even works when users are travelling at speeds of up to 160km/h, such as when on a train.
The big advantage of this device is that it carries two tuners and supports Dual Tuner mode, so you can watch one channel on your Mac while recording another, or even watch two live transmissions at once.
The device records digital terrestrial TV at lossless quality, it supports Dolby Digital sound and the multi-language programming that's made available through digital TV broadcasts. It's powered by Elgato's EyeTV 2.3.2 software and also supports Apple's Front Row and the Apple Remote.
EyeTV Diversity will be available from 6 November for £95.95.
