O2 briefly published prices for its Pay and Go iPhones last night, only to remove the information shortly after.

If the information turns out to be accurate, it seems iPhone users who don't want to be saddled with a contract will be able to buy an 8GB iPhone as a Pay and Go option for £300, while the higher-capacity 16GB model will cost £400.

Customers buying either phone will get six months of unlimied on-device browsing, unlimited browsing will then cost an extra £10 per month after the first six months.

Meanwhile, some reports claim O2 will open its retail stores at 7am on the day the iPhone 3G goes on sale in the UK.
