Key Apple manufacturing partner Pegatron says it is unaware of any forthcoming visits from the Fair Labor Association (FLA).

Bloomberg reports that Charles Lin, chief financial officer of Pegatron said that though he had been informed of Apple's corporate social responsibility policies and the FLA's plans to inspect the facilities of its suppliers, he hadn't been told of any upcoming audits.

Apple said yesterday that inspections of Foxconn's plants would begin this week and later in the spring, similar inspections will take place at the Quanta and Pegatron facilities.

The FLA will interview thousands of employees about both working and living conditions, asking about health and safety, compensation, working hours, and management communication with workers, beginning with Foxconn's plant in Shenzhen.

The results of the FLA inspections will be posted on the organisation's website from the end of next month, Apple said.
