Apple may soon let you trade your decrepit old iPhone in for a newer model, possibly one with a 64-bit chip or in a sleek silver/graphite color. What do the remainders for Monday, August 26, 2013 have to do to get you to walk out with a new phone today?
That iPhone trade-in program we heard whispered about back in June may be imminent, according to reports that have Apple currently training retail store employees on the subject. I'm prepared, right now, to trade in my iPhone 5 for a quality second baseman and an iPhone to be named later.
Rumors suggest the next iPhone will sport not only a faster processor, but potentially a 64-bit one as well. Eat your heart out, Commodore 64!
Just in case gold wasn't your color, one site claims that Apple will also ship the next iPhone in a silver/graphite shade. So, if the winner gets a gold iPhone, and the runner up gets a silver iPhone, is there a bronze iPhone in the making?
