A reminder, Apple owned FileMaker has announced registration is now open for the 2011 FileMaker Developer Conference, billed as the premier worldwide gathering for corporate and independent FileMaker database developers.

FileMaker makes award-winning, database software for Mac, Windows, iPhone iPad and the Web.

Developers, consultants and trainers from around the world will meet to share best practices and talk with exhibitors about their products.

The 16 annual FileMaker Developer Conference, will be held between 2-5 August 2011, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, a new waterfront venue in downtown San Diego.

Conference-goers will save up to $300 (around £180) off the full price, paying  $1,295 (around £800)  - or $1,949 (around £1,207) for the Gold Conference registration package - which includes Pre-Conference workshops and the FileMaker Developer Conference, by taking advantage of the limited-time "early bird" discount, available now at www.filemaker.co.uk/devcon/.

The "early bird" discount is available until the 17 June 2011, while a full conference schedule will be online in February 2011.

System requirements for FileMaker Pro 11 and FileMaker Pro Advanced 11 are Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later and is Universal with the exception of the Intel only Mac OS X 10.6. PC requirements are Windows XP Professional, Home Edition (SP 3), Windows Vista Ultimate, Business, Home Premium (SP 2) and Windows 7 Ultimate, Professional, Home Premium.
