US retail giant Wal-Mart looks likely to start selling Apple's popular tablet device as early as next week.
Website IntoMobile notes a leaked internal Wal-Mart email that suggests stores will carry all six Apple iPad models, along with a range of accessories.
Wal-Mart customers have also spotted evidence of iPad being stocked in stores across the US, ready for launch.
Apple Insider meanwhile suggests Wal-Mart will roll out the iPad to 1,000 stores by the end of October.
Wal-Mart will join Apple, Best Buy and most recently Target retail stores in selling the iPad in the US.
According to financial analysts at Bernstein Research Apple's iPad is the most quickly adopted non-phone electronic device ever, selling at a rate of about 4.5 million units per quarter.
