The Script will play this year's iTunes Festival at London's Roundhouse in July, it has been announced.

The Irish band will play on 12 July as part of a month-long event. In all, more than 60 artists will perform on 31 consecutive nights.

Jessie J, The Wanted and Liam Gallagher's new project, Beady Eye are all confirmed for this years' iTunes Festival, as are Adele, Duran Duran and Glasvegas.

To be in with a chance of getting free tickets to any of the gigs you'll need to enter a prize draw on the the iTunes Festival website. On the site you can also sign up for email alerts to get the latest news on which acts will be playing the festival as and when they are confirmed.

The festival organisers have also promised to reveal five more acts that will play the festival this week.

The Script released their second album, Science & Faith, in August 2010.
