Sky has brought its Now TV streaming service to the Apple TV, but prices will go up next month.

Now TV has been available across a wide range of devices including Roku players, Android, Chromecast, PS4 and others. However, a big omission has been the popular Apple TV but that's now a thing of the past as Now TV is available on the gadget from today. Gidon Katz, director of Now TV, said: "Great news for Apple TV users today as we bring our range of NOW TV passes to the service. There's never been a better time to get stuck into gripping box sets like The Walking Dead or The West Wing, right from the very first episode, plus get unlimited access to hundreds of the latest award-winning movies like American Hustle - straight to your main TV screen."

The news means the Apple TV owners can now access a wealth of Sky content without being a fully fledged customer. Now TV offers Sky Sports, Sky Movies and Sky Entertainment including Sky Atlantic.

Customers can pick and choose which packages out of the three they want - Movies and Entertainment require a monthly fee while Sports is available for 24 hours for a one-off payment.

The bad news is that Sky will be increasing the price of both Sky Movies and Sky Entertainment come 16 October. Sky Movies will go up by £1 to £9.99 per month while Sky Entertainment will increase by £2 to £6.99 per month.

The current Sky Sports offer of £6.99 for a Day Pass and £10.99 for a Week Pass will end on 27 November.
