Apple is facing yet another lawsuit, this time over technology used in the iPod's ClickWheel.

Southampton-based touch sensor manufacturer Quantum Research Group has lauched litigation against Apple regarding electronic components (specifically the capacitive sensing technology) used in the iPod Click Wheel.

The company believes Apple has infringed its patents for some uses, and first launched litigation against Cupertino in December 2005.

At present, Apple is denying the charge and has filed counterclaims against the charges.

The case seems set to go to trial later this year, Electronics Weekly claims.
