A Virgin America Airbus A320 has had a Steve Jobs quote stencilled onto its fuselage in tribute to the late Apple co-founder.

The words 'Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish' can be seen just beneath the cockpit of the airliner, which was added to Virgin's fleet in the autumn, reports Cnet

"The 'Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish' aircraft name was actually submitted as a tribute to Mr Jobs by one of our employees in an internal plane naming competition," Virgin America spokesperson quoted in the report said.

Virgin America prides itself on being a forward-thinking company, technologically speaking, and was the first company to onboard Wi-Fi across its entire fleet. 

Jobs, who passed away last October, made the 'Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish' comments at his Stanford commencement speech in 2005, a video of which can be seen below.
