Subscription-based video search engine GUBA has introduced a new feature to add video found on its service to iTunes, making it accessible through Front Row.

GUBA video content is now automatically formatted for iTunes on both the Mac and PC - the same format supported by the iPod with video. Subscribers can create iTunes podcasts (RSS feeds) of any video group or search on GUBA, which can be automatically downloaded by iTunes.

"By combining GUBA with the new Front Row feature, we have been able to reach a whole new level of video-on-demand," said Thomas McInerney, CEO of GUBA.

The service offers subscribers a one-stop shop for searching and downloading video content from Usenet, the world's largest electronic bulletin board.

The service does not index feature films or MP3s and is fully DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) compliant.
