Apple's rumoured "iPod phone" plans could hit former processor and ROKR development partner Motorola hard, an analyst believes.

Standard & Poor's analyst Kenneth Leon rates Motorola's stock as a "strong buy", reports Forbes.

He does warn that Apple's mooted move to produce a mobile phone iPod handset could "dent" Motorola's profit.

"Motorola may be vulnerable to any new handset trend", he said.
