Mon, 05 Jun 2006 Rumour: Apple and RIM plan iPod wireless?
This week's biggest rumour proposes a partnership between Apple and Blackberry creator, Research In Motion (RIM).
This exciting rumour - about which nothing has been stated by Apple or RIM - emanates from Canaccord Capital analyst Peter Misek, who suggested the possibility late on Friday.

Misek predicts the partners may (or, clearly, being a rumour, may not) develop some kind of wireless device - an "AppleBerry" or "MacBerry".
Apple could build a mobile phone combining iPod with RIM technologies, or RIM might embed Apple's iTunes music into a future BlackBerry, he speculates.
He speculates that RIM would benefit from the deal by gaining presence in Apple's burgeoning consumer market, while Apple would gain a toehold in the market for wireless connected devices.
The analyst accurately predicted a partnership between RIM and Intel last year.
