Texas schools have been given funding to provide students and teachers with Apple laptop computers.

Six school districts in Texas that will benefit from a $350,000 grant, reports NewsChannel.

Director of Distance Learning at Texas Tech University Wesley Fryer said: "We have a need to engage children of all ages in instruction, and technology is one way to do that."
