Thu, 08 Dec 2005 Volvo UK offers in-car iPod audio
Volvo has begun shipping its iPod adapter in the UK.
In the US Volvo and Apple announced plans to make such a kit available across the car company's products in January.
The £107 (excluding fitting) adapter and the driver's already owned iPod sit in the arm-rest and connect directly to the car stereo. The music player can then be controlled using the stereo of steering wheel remote controls.
The adaptor fits all Volvo S60 and S80 saloons, the V70 estate (2000 onwards) and XC70 AWD estate (2001 onwards).
