Fri, 21 Jul 2006 Avery offers free labelling software for Macs
Avery has released free label creation software for Macs.
The software is called the Avery Mac Label Expert and is available for free download from the company.
It can handle the sometimes tedious job of creating and formatting text for printing to the sticky labels Avery manufactures.
Features include a new user interface, templates for all Avery printable products, and support for both printer and Mac fonts.
The software guides users through a series of simple steps for formatting and printing onto all Avery printable products, including address and ID labels, business cards, printable dividers and CD and DVD labelling.
Avery assistant product manager, Stuart McIntyre, said: "By creating free software for Mac users, we are building on the Mac solutions that we already provide today. I am sure this product will prove to be very popular."
