UK Mac software developer Kudlian Soft attracted much interest at giant education trade show BETT last week with its new product Media Browser.

Media Browser is a powerful tool that lets you search through and preview images, music and movies held on your Mac. It's a floating window that sits above your open application and is always visible until you choose to close it. It works in a similar way to the browsing tool you find in some iLlife applications, but isn't confined to working solely with iLife.

Media Browser can be configured to search for media in other folders. Media files can be drag-and-dropped into any application that supports the given file type. This makes it ideal for use in applications that do not have their own support for browsing the media on your Mac.

The company is offering a free five-day trial of the application, which it is selling online for just $9.95.
