T-Mobile may have plans to introduce the iTunes mobile from Apple and Motorola.

During a German press conference yesterday, the company hinted at its plans in a slide that looks at its mobile music strategy.

The slides reveal 300,000 downloads through the company's mobile music service, and T-Mobile's sponsorship of Robbie Williams.

But for digital music buffs, perhaps most significant was T-Mobile's statement that: "From Christmas, also mobile with iTunes".

It’s thought the new mobile will debut on September 7 and that it will be available through Cingular in the US and O2 in the UK.

The Mobile Gazette has published what it claims are official images of the new device taken from a Motorola Russia press kit. These are available here.
