This Wednesday Apple will face allegations in court that it stole the design for the iTunes software.

David Contois claims that he demonstrated digital jukebox software at a tradeshow a decade ago. He filed a lawsuit in June stating: "Apple has copied the invention. Apple's infringement has been and continues to be willful."

Contois is asking for unspecified damages and fees, and also that Apple stops distribution of its iTunes software.

Apple denies the allegations and is seeking reimbursement of its own legal fees.

"Apple does not infringe, has not infringed, has not contributed to the infringement of and has not induced the infringement of," the company told Associated Press.

The hearing on Wednesday will determine whether the case should go to trial.
