Apple has eight products nominated for creative industry 'Oscars'

Apple is in the running for several Design And Art Direction (D&AD) Awards once again this year.

The annual D&AD awards are recognised as a standard of excellence internationally, they are known as the 'Oscars' of the creative industry.

Apple has multiple products nominated in the Product Design category; while the company's ad agency, TBWA, is up for its work on Apple's 'Don't Give Up' Mac online advertising campaign.

In the Product Design category, Apple's iPod nano, iPhone, iPod touch, iPhone Bluetooth headset, iPod classic, wireless keyboard, iMac, and Apple keyboard.

This year's awards will be presented at D&AD's new look Awards Ceremony on 15 May at London's Royal Festival Hall.
