Yet more indicators that Apple will be launching OS X Mountain Lion on 25 July have emerged with claims that Apple is set to hold an ‘overnight’ at Apple Stores at various locations around the world on 24 July.

The overnight allows Apple staff to install the new operating system on every Mac in the store. According to 9to5 Mac’s sources: “It is basically just a few guys running around with the master image installing it on every Mac”.

9to5 Mac notes that there may be nothing out of the ordinary. Apple often holds overnights on Tuesdays. They also note that some of the stores they contacted were not aware of any planned overnights.

However, it looks likely that the new version of OS X will launch very soon, Apple promised Mountain Lion would launch in July and the gold master is already with developers.
