Along with Mac OS X 10.4.9, Apple's latest security update, a security patch for Mac OS X 10.3.9 and an iPhoto 6.0.6 update were also made available last night.

The 8MB update is available through Software Update and also for direct download from the company's support website. The update addresses issues associated with EXIF data compatibility and Photocasting.

The security update is for systems running Mac OS X 10.3.9. Patches for both client and server systems are available and are recommended for all users.

The patches improve security among the following components: ColorSync; CoreGraphics; Crash Reporter; cups; Directory Services; DiskImages Framework; Flash Player Plug-in; Foundation; gnutar; OpenSSH; Print Center; QuickDraw and sudo.
