Apple has been quietly implementing a range of minor - but useful - features in Mac OS X 'Leopard', a report explains.

These features include a new QuickLook image viewing feature and dashboard enhancements, Apple Insider explains.

The OS has also been tweaked in order that when an external hard drive is first connected to the Mac, the system will ask a user if they want to have that drive automatically used as a repository for Apple Time Machine back-up software archives.

Dashboard Web Clip has also been improved - users can now turn a section of a site into a Dasboard widget, rather than the whole page, the report observes.
