The public beta of Disco for Mac OS X 10.4 shipped today.
Disco is a disc-burning utility for Macs, which claims to offer an easy-to-manage user interface. The release of the public beta of the software follows a private beta last week.
The disc burning process has been designed to be efficient and understandable for users. Steps smoothly glide into place and progress bars pulse as the user moves through the workflow.
Features of the application include: disc spanning, full multi-session support, multi-file system support, one-to-one copies, VIDEO_TS burning, motion-sensor support and numerous disc-imaging options.
Disco also includes Discography, a data system that tracks all of your burns and lets you search through previously burned files to find out what disc they are on. The software costs $14.95.
