Celartem-owned firm Extensis has updated its Suitcase Fusion font management software.
The free update improves application performance for font activation and searching, and also enhances font-corruption checking, according to the company.
For owners of the latest Macs, the update adds native support for FontDoctor on Intel and PowerPC Macs. That application ships for free with Suitcase Fusion.
Halstead York, Extensis product marketing manager says: "By working directly with customers and font foundries, we have enhanced our font-corruption checking engine. This enables Suitcase Fusion to work with even more fonts than before, while ensuring the bullet-proof font-management workflow our customers require."
Registered owners of Suitcase Fusion are eligible to receive the free upgrade immediately through the Extensis website.
