Apple has released update to two of its professional applications, FInal Cut Pro and WebObjects.
A maintenance release, Final Cut Pro 5.1.3 is described as offering "important bug fixes" and is a 42MB download that's recommended to all users.
The update includes fixes to ensure render files created on both PowerPC-based and Intel-based Macs now work properly on either type of computer. The update also adds several commands to the default keyboard layout that were missing in the previous version and makes cross dissolves work as expected when running in nested sequences beside still images.
Apple's WebObjects 5.3.3 Update is recommended for all users. As described, this 41MB download simply updates WebObjects 5.3 systems to observe the Daylight Saving Time (DST) and 2007 time zone changes as of 8 January 2007.
WebObjects DST Update is formally qualified for the Java 1.4.2 platform. The Java for Mac OS X 10.4, Release 5 updates the JDK 1.4 version on the Tiger.
