Fastforward has released its financial management software for Mac OS X, FinanceToGo.

The software is aimed at individual users and small businesses, and is based on the standard double-entry accounting system.

Users can track multiple accounts and thousands of transactions simultaneously. Transactions can be categorised, and graphs are automatically generated, displaying where your money is being spent and on what. Reports and budgets can also be produced from the financial data you supply.

International currencies and banking systems are supported, as is the ability to import Quicken Interchangeable Format (QIF) format files for existing Quicken for Mac users.

The software - which is a Universal binary for both Intel and PowerPC Macs - also handles the management of fixed and liquid assets, purchasing, stock investments and more.

The software is available now and costs $34.95 until 18 December, when the cost will rise to $44.95.
