Freeverse has released Cult of Mithras, an expansion pack to its strategy game, Legion Arena.

Cult of Mithras continues the story from where the Roman Campaign of Legion Arena ends. It adds new supernatural elements to gameplay, including ghost legions, demons and shadow warriors.

The new expansion pack features 35 new battles across seven campaigns, seven new units, an extended story line, new weapons and new challenges.

The original game has also been improved within this release - you now get contextual in-game menus and faster performance.

The Cult of Mithras expansion pack is available for download now and costs $14.95. A copy of the original game, Legion Arena, is required to play. A 227MB demo of the original title is available for download.

Freeverse is actively promoting new products each day this week, more news is expected late today.
