G-Technology has launched its third annual Driven Creativity competition for amateur and professional photographers, filmmakers, animators and musicians.
The external storage solutions company is offering creative individuals from UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden and Russia a chance to win the ultimate prize of 5,000 Euros (almost £4000) to help fund their next artistic project.
Entrants will need to submit their creations by midnight on 24 September. G-Technology says that the judging will be based on uniqueness, quality, and the resourcefulness that went into achieving the end result.
To get an idea of what the judges are looking for, below is the overall winner from last year’s competition, chosen from more than 1,000 entries across all of the categories.
The creater of the winning film, Steffen Wilheim, said: “The prize money was so great for us because on the one-hand there were still some costs to be paid from our “We miss you” project. On the other hand it allowed us to be able to concentrate on new projects,” which included a pilot for a drama series and an internship at a major TV network.
This year’s finalists’ work will be exhibited in London in November, where the overall 2012 winner will be announced.
